CLASS SCHEDULE | Ashtanga Yoga Raum Frankfurt

We sing the opening mantra together at 6:30 a.m., 8:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. respectively. Advanced Ashtangis can come and start 30 minutes earlier.

If you are late, no problem, just ring the bell: I’ll open the door for you. The strenght is to be found in serenity. After moving, you can start your yoga practice with a silent mantra for yourself.

The class schedule will be updated in May 2022. We are then planning an extension of the class schedule on Tuesday and Thursday evenings with one Ashtanga Yoga Mysore lesson each.

ASHTANGA VINYASA YOGA

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a well-known Hatha yoga system that has its roots in Patanjali’s sutras (theory) and yoga korunta (practice). The oldest known Ashtanga yoga teacher is T. Krishnamacharya, who in turn passed on his knowledge to his yoga students, including T.K.V. Desikachar, B.K.S. Iyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois.

In the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Mysore style , a yoga teacher supports the yoga students in finding their own living practice (self-practice) or deepening their existing yoga practice individually. The yoga students receive help adapted to them and are corrected in the execution of the yoga postures (asanas).
