Contents

  • Daily Ashtanga Yoga Practice
    • Learning a self-practice to promote body awareness, outer and inner stability
    • You are already well-versed in Ashtanga Mysore style, then you can join our Mysore class in the morning, which takes place from 6-8 pm, instead of taking part in the introduction!
  • Yoga philosophy and its relation to the present day
    • The yoga philosophy conveys fundamental values and approaches that offer orientation even in today’s world. It promotes mindfulness, ethical action and a conscious life in harmony with oneself, the (working) environment and the environment.
  • Mindfulness in everyday life and professional life
    • Introduction to the basics, philosophy and effect of mindfulness. Conscious presence as the key to more serenity, clarity and self-leadership. Integration of mindfulness into personal and professional everyday life.
  • Meditation
    • How can meditation help to bring more serenity into everyday life, even in challenging situations? Learning different forms of meditation while sitting and walking. Breath observation and body scan.
  • Understanding stress and strengthening resources
    • Recognizing stress triggers and stressful factors, reflecting on one’s own patterns and activating personal resources.
  • Resilience through self-care and inner balance
    • Development of personal resilience strategies to meet special challenges with mental stability and emerge stronger from them.
  • Healthy Work Culture & Prevention
    • Political and social causes of stress. Dialogue forum on work culture and prevention.

  • Persons in management and advisory functions as well as in social and nursing professions with high emotional stress
  • Employees who want to link individual resilience strategies with an understanding of societal stress factors and collective forms of coping

Objectives of the event

  • The participants deal with the physiological and psychological foundations of stress regulation, heart coherence and resilience according to the HeartMath® method and reflect on their significance for the modern world of work and society.
  • You will acquire scientifically sound knowledge of the autonomic nervous system, heart rate variability (HRV) and body-oriented self-regulation techniques. Essentially, the aim is for the participants to develop practical strategies to maintain their personal performance and recovery capacity under constant stress and to make their professional and private actions health-promoting.
  • A special focus is on the critical examination of the connection between individual mental health, social security systems and collective, democratic coping strategies in times of crisis.

Individual learning objectives

  • Understanding the physiological basis of stress, recovery and heart coherence as well as the four areas of resilience (body, mind, emotions, spirituality)
  • Safe use of central HeartMath® techniques (Heart-Focused Breathing, Quick Coherence®, Notice & Ease™, Inner-Ease™, Heart Lock-In®, Freeze Frame®)
  • Classification of heart rate variability (HRV) as a marker of resilience and self-perception of emotional patterns
  • Learning complementary breathing techniques (coherent breathing, alternate breathing, bee breathing) for targeted nervous system regulation
  • Development of a resilience practice suitable for everyday use and transfer to professional stress situations
  • Critical Classification of the Relationship between Individual Health and Social Security Systems
  • Reflection on solidarity and social responsibility as factors of collective resilience
  • Analysis of the influence of social crisis phenomena (climate change, digitalization, polarization) on individual burdens
  • Development of individual and collective, especially democratic, options for action to overcome the crisis

  • The participants deal with the technical and intercultural basics of English-language business communication and reflect on its importance for a globalized working world.
  • You will acquire in-depth knowledge of international negotiation and presentation techniques as well as of the socio-political context of Multilingualism, diversity and workers’ rights. Essentially, it is about about the participants developing action and discourse skills in order to shape their professional actions in international contexts in a confident, goal-oriented and socially beneficial way.
  • A special focus is on the promotion of critical judgement on questions of social justice, access to the labour market, co-determination and democratic participation in a globalised environment.

  • Confidently leading, moderating (chairing) and structuring meetings in English
  • Application of effective negotiation strategies, argumentation techniques and handling of objections
  • Professional design of presentations including storytelling and confident handling of Q sessions
